Moisture is important for keeping the collagen network supple. It is the condition of the skin's collagen, NOT the facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles.With age, the collagen network tends to weaken, to lose moisture and resiliency, thus causing the skin to lose its tone and suppleness.
